1) Greetings:
Sing the song "Funny face".
2) Revision
Act the song: This is the way…
Step 2. Procedure
1. Orgnization :
1) Greeting with the Ss.and tell them today we will have a story.
2) Then revise the animals names.
3) The teacher surpos as the fish and show the picture to the Ss.ask ‘What’s this?’
4) let the Ss.answer.
5) Then let one student instead of teacher and tell the story like the teachet just now .
Before that teach the Ss. the sentence ‘What’ this?’
-then pronunciation and the meaning
6) Tell all the story like this and then tell the story in Chinese in again.
7) Revise the song of this unit 
8) Play a game :
Let the Ss.come to front to act one animal
Choose who did the best
Then give the decals face".Ss Act the song: This is the way… Ss say the words.Ss do actions.Ss learn the lyrics.
本课以动画片形式呈现,激发学生学习的热情。
在以前的教学中已经渗透了句型what’s this?所以学生理解起来并不难。

作业布置

Ask the students to remember the new songs that they’ve learned in this class.

Note:
低年级的学生非常喜欢听故事,fun time 这一课学生表现的很活跃,课堂气氛很热烈。本课以动画片的形式呈现,符合孩子的年龄特点。虽然文中出现了新句型:what’s this?,但由于在平时的游戏教学中已经接触过,所以并没影响到学生对文意的理解。
